It was after school and that afternoon Lucas had decided to go looking around the shops that made up a bit of a shopping center near the center of town. Keith had allowed him to take truck after he had dropped him off at the apartment. Luke had to wait until his first visit back home to Tree Hill to bring his car back with him to Branson. He already had a bus ticket set for him to go back that Friday. That was part of the reason why he wanted to look around the shops. The very least he could do was get something for his mom and maybe even Haley.
His first stop was at the bookstore. Maybe he was more interested in books than his mom or his best friend, but Lucas knew that sometimes you found books that you just did not realize you would ever come across in your travels. He looked around for a good while, but did not find anything too interesting that he did not already have in his collection. As he grew disinterested he headed over to the music store next door.
Shopping for music was always fun. Although it reminded him a lot of Haley because they usually did it together when they had the time. He went looking for a good section to start looking through. Maybe if he was lucky he would find a rare album to take back to his friend or even his mother. Luke found a section that looked decent to start looking at. There was something about this town that seemed to leave a lot to be desired. He wondered where they were hiding all of the good books and music that he did not already have. What he saw in front of him could not be all of what they had to offer, or could it? Anyway he looked at it he figured he probably would not find much if anything to take back home with him for the two most important women in his life.

Rebecca decided to visit the mall after school. Her group of army followed a long but then they made some lame excuses and left her all alone. One of them had to leave early because she had some family thing going on while the other two had some very strict parents. In Rebecca's opinion their excuses for leaving her alone were lame but whatever. Luckily her father was out of town so he didn't care about where she spent her time after school, not that he would give a damn if he wasn't out of town. Sometimes Rebecca got the feeling that their maid cared more about her than her own father.
When her supposed friends left her alone she decided to check out the music store. Rebecca lived for music. She couldn't go a day without it. Music was her inspiration for everything and she really liked songs with deep lyrics and nice melodies. The songs that you could listen to over and over again without getting tired; songs that spoke to you. Most people thought that she liked artists like Kesha and songs like 'Oh my boyfriend left me again' but she was more a fan of artists like Coldplay, Muse, 30 seconds to Mars, Damien Rice, and many more. Of course she couldn't tell her friends this because they were all fans of Kesha and Selena Gomez, so she pretended to be one too.
Without them there she could finally buy the latest album by The Civil Wars and she would probably pick up a Damien Rice album too. While looking through the store she spotted a familiar face and he seemed a bit lost. Rebecca thought about walking over to him but wasn't sure. Their last meeting had her in the spotlight for days and it was so much fun but did she really want to talk to him again? She thought about it while picking up the Civil Wars album and then decided to walk over to him. "You are Lucas, right?" she said with a smirk.

Lucas looked up as he heard Rebecca say his name. He had been looking at some classic rock albums at that moment. The girl had that smirk on her face, and he was not sure what to think. "Yes, and you're that girl that was suppose to call me. What's your name again...?" Luke was just messing with her. "Doesn't it start with a B... no, maybe a C?" He fingered through some more albums until he got to the Bon Jovi section. "Oh no, that's right it's Rebecca," he said with a smirk as he looked back over at her.
Then he saw what album she was holding. Part of him figured that she would not be too judgmental about what he was looking at. Although he was slightly surprised that she seemed to have good taste in music. "What a pleasant surprise." Luke gestured towards the Civil Wars album she was holding. "At least you're not into that Disney pop stuff." Truth be told he felt like his lips had done him some good this time around. He could only stand listening to so much of the current day pop music most of the time.
"So do you come here alone often?" He raised his eyebrow as he asked her the question. Lucas found it weird that such a 'popular' girl like her would be out shopping all alone. Although he figured she was not as popular as she wanted to be. Even he usually went shopping with someone, usually Haley or his mom on most occasions. Maybe he was just a little what people would consider lame. Luke was proud to be what at least what some people would call a momma's boy. He loved his mom and he tried his best to make her proud. Her and Haley were the two people that he tried his best to be a good man for. What they thought of him meant the most to him. Well them and perhaps Peyton.

Rebecca laughed when he started to joke around. She was pretty sure that he remembered her name. She then thought about his comment about her being the girl who was supposed to call him. Rebecca had his number somewhere and she was sure that it was somewhere in her purse. Rebecca let out a chuckle about his disney comment and looked down at the album that he was holding. She had to admit that the guy wasn't that bad after all. He had a good taste in music. He even knew who the civil wars were. Not many guys in school knew that.
"Yeah well when I'm here with my friends I'm usually by the Disney section," she said with a grin. It wasn't something that she was proud of admitting but if she wanted to keep her cool girl status she had to listen to songs like 'Oh baby, baby' even if it made her ears bleed. Some Disney stars weren't that bad but she had no idea why Justin Bieber was so famous or why people went crazy over the Jonas Brothers. They weren't really wet dream material or worth remembering as artists. She couldn't imagine people being all 'do you remember the amazing lyrics by the Jonas Brothers?' in twenty years like people did with artists like Beatles and Elvis Priestly. They were true artists.
"So, you know who the civil wars are?" she asked and looked at the section. "Bon Jovi is pretty good to. I really like the songs Always and Bed Of Roses by him. And of course it's my life. I think that anyone with a brain likes that song. Are you looking for anything special? If you are I can help you. When I'm not with my friends I actually look through the section that has good music and real artist. Not some Kesha crap." Rebecca actually found herself rambling about her music and she didn't know how that happened. Though she always rambled when talking about music and movies. "I'm sorry. I get very excited about music. And to answer your question I was here with some friends but they had to leave. Their parents are very strict. What are you doing here?"

"Remind me never to date or kiss any of your friends." Truthfully he knew that Brooke had a rather different taste in music than he did. In that respect and a couple others him and Brooke had just been too different. He liked it when him and girl actually had a similar taste in music. He figured he could say that kissing girls that you did not share a similar taste in music with spelled trouble.
"My best friend got me interested in them. When I'm back home I usually go music shopping with her." Luke smiled as he thought about him and Haley looking through the albums together. It had always been an experience, and a nice and pleasant one at that. They usually ended up buying doubles of enough of them in the long run. "It's kind of weird not to have her here shopping with me."
Lucas smiled as Rebecca rambled on. He found it cute. Luke waited patiently for her to cool it on the rambling before even considering speaking again. "Talking about good music excites you. There's nothing wrong with that." He then thought about what she had said about her friends having to leave. It was then that he realized just how much him and Haley had been trusted by their parents. His mom could be strict, but usually she trusted him enough to let him go about things as he chose to.
"I'm just looking for something I could possibly use as a gift for my mom or my best friend. If there's something that we don't already have though, I'm not really finding it," he said looking at the album that he still had in his hand. "Me and Hales both already have this one." Lucas placed it back where he had found it. "If I didn't know any better I would say that there's slim pickings when it comes to things around here. The bookstore wasn't too promising either."
As he looked back over at her he figured he should explain the situation a little better. "I'm going home Friday and I thought it'd be nice to get something to surprise them with when I get there." He then felt for the keys in his pocket, making certain that they were still there. "It'll be nice to have my own set of wheels again. Me and Uncle Keith only brought out his truck during the move. He's letting me use it while he's busy scheming up a way to make the students in his classes miserable."

Rebecca listened at what Lucas had to say and she was sure that he would never date anyone from her group of army. Maybe he would kiss one since he liked to kiss random people but her friends weren't his type. They were pretty shallow and well they were boring. It wasn't like she wasn't shallow because she was but she wasn't boring. Her life was interesting and well theirs were normal and noting unique really. Maybe Lucas went after that but she saw him more as the kind of guy who liked unique and complex, and not bland and normal. Not that normal was bad. Sometimes normal was good but Rebecca always thought that the most interesting people were the complex ones. The ones that aren't easy to get to know. The ones who aren't a open book but who keep surprising you.
Lost in her own thought she came back to reality and continued to listen at what he was saying. He was talking about his best friend and going back to his old town on Friday. Rebecca wondered where that was. He also mentioned something about a bookstore but Rebecca didn't spend that much time there. She was only there when she needed a copy of a romantic novel or books like Pretty Little Liars. Her music taste was amazing. Her tastes in books was bad. Even she had to admit it.
"Well, this music store is actually pretty good. You just have to know your way around it. Like here's all the old stuff. Stuff that you really heard and have. Over there," she said and pointed at a section. "you have all the disney crap. And then you have the new stuff right there." Once again she pointed at a section and smiled. "I guess that I can help you if you want. I just have to find the Damien Rice album and I can help. It shouldn't take long. It should be here somewhere," she explained and started to search for it. Rebecca had seen it before she just had to find it. It only took her some minuets to find it and when she did, she turned back to Lucas. "So, if you don't mind me asking. Where is home to you?"

Maybe in Branson a music store with a decent sized section devoted to Disney pop was a pretty good thing. In Tree Hill they had one with an even smaller Disney pop section, if it even had one where him and Haley usually went. At the moment he could not quite remember. Lucas watched as she searched for the Damien Rice album. Rebecca was actually rather adorable in her ways when she was not confusing him and biting his head off. "Since you've been nice, adorable, and rather charming I think I can answer that for you. Tree Hill, home of the Ravens." He kept himself from going into the deal about what more than one raven was. Haley had always been good at accepting him for who he was, but he did not want to scare Rebecca away. "It's about two hours from here."
Lucas wondered what he could possibly get Haley. There was no way to be certain she did not have a certain album without asking her out right. She could of had the same thought of him, to go shopping, and if she did there was telling what Hales would of bought for herself. His mom was a different case though, it was just the idea of getting her something that took that extra little bit of thought. Luke just was not sure what that was. "Things back there are complicated. Here though, I'm still trying to figure out this place. Especially you." He smiled, mainly because for the first time in a long while his biggest worry seemed to be what to get Haley and his mom for when he went back home.
"Part of my heart's here and the other part of it is back in Tree Hill with my mom and my friends that I have there." It was strange for him to say it out loud. At the same time it felt good to have it out in the open. "No matter where I go though there will always be books, music, and basketball." It would only be all that more true if and when he ever got the go ahead to play again.

Rebecca smiled and listened as Lucas started to compliment her. She could actually feel her cheek turning hot and she didn't know how to react to that and how to make it stop. Maybe ignoring it would make it go away. She wasn't sure why and how he made her blush but it was probably something with the amount of compliments that he had given her. In all honestly, no pretending this time, people never gave her many compliments. Next to her sister she faded away in comparison. Her sister was pretty, sexy, hot, and Rebecca wasn't that.
Though what he said next caught her attention and she knew what the home of Ravens meant. Hell, everyone in Branson knew that. Everyone who as interested in basket ball and cheer-leading. It was also then that she realized why his last name sounded so familiar to her. "Home of the Ravens, huh. So you know Nathan Scott then?" she asked. "During basketball season everyone keeps talking about him and the Ravens. Of course the ones who are not interesting in basketball focus more on the cheer-leading part," Rebecca explained and looked through the section of music. "Do you know Brooke Davis? She's the head cheerleader of The Ravens cheer-leading team. Our cheer-leading team likes to drag everyone along to watch the other teams. Anyway, Brooke Davis won a prize this season and our team is all tense now."
Rebecca went back focusing on the music section and wondered what kind of music his friend liked because it wasn't easy to look for music when you had no idea about what the other person liked. "So, what kind of music does your friend listen to? Or what albums does she already have?" She then thought about what he said about trying to figure her out and about Tree Hill always being home. She also thought about the Ravens. "You do know that more than one crow is a murder? And more than one Raven means an unkindness. So really the Tree Hill basketball team are an unkindness of Ravens," she rambled on. "I just think that it's cool....for name"

Luke saw her cheeks turn flush. He had not meant to make her blush, but it did remind him that they were all human and that they could not always control their reactions. Admiring her was easy for him to do now. That all came to a crashing halt as she made it rather clear that just because he had moved away from home that it did not necessarily mean that he had left home at home. People knew about the Ravens and especially about Nathan and Brooke. It made him uncomfortable knowing that what he had to deal with in Tree Hill was going to follow him here. There was simply no way, Luke realized, that he could get away from it.
"You have to ask if I know him? The last name didn't tip you off?" Lucas playfully smiled at her for a moment. "He's my half brother, same father different mothers." There was no point in risking confusing anyone. Especially not Rebecca. Hell he might as well make sure that she had her facts straight in case someone asked her questions about him. She also seemed more interested in the Raven cheerleaders than basketball team it seemed. Besides Rebecca would of known who he was if she had paid more attention to the basketball team.
"Considering that I can give my little brother a run for his money, yeah I would know Brooke. She has an interesting way of... congratulating you on your first game winning basket." He thought about what that had all led to. How he got mixed up in the whole love triangle with her and Peyton. Luke also remembered how Brooke had gotten him drunk and how he had ended up getting his tattoo. "Where you there, in Charlotte, when she won it?" He was curious about what her answer would be.
The way she asked about what kind of music Haley liked got him thinking about why he was in the music store again. He was looking for something that most people did not have and could not just go and buy, but he was not sure if that was possible. Her favorites are Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Michelle Branch... and just about any female singer songwriter that has good lyrics and plays a guitar or piano." He laughed realizing that it probably was not much of a help at all.
"See when I told Hales about that she looked at me strange and told me that's probably why people think I'm strange. If that's true than, me and you, we're both strange." Lucas smiled and started to look through albums some more. "You are right about one thing though, it's truly an unkindness."

It made sense now why he shared the same last name as Nathan Scott. She had heard some rumors about Nathan having a half brother but she didn't know that the half brother was Lucas, and that he was the new kid. It seemed like they had more things in common. His father left him and her mother left her, though the difference was that she had no idea where her mother was. For all Rebecca knew her mother could be dead or just lost somewhere, not that she cared. "Huh. So one of the Scott brothers is here in Branson playing for a basketball team that would probably go against the Ravens when the season starts again." Again, it looked like they could add more things to their 'what they have in common' list.
Rebecca was very competitive with her sister. Her sister didn't always know that they were competing against each other but they were. She hated the fact that she was second best. And it wasn't only in school but at home to. She was second best in everything and her sister came always first. She let out a sigh when thinking about that and turned her attention back to Lucas, and what he had told her about Brooke Davis. It seemed like he really knew her. "Yeah, I heard rumors that the girl is a slut, no offense. It's just what I've heard. Or what the other cheer leaders are telling. I don't judge though. Guys are allowed to fool around so girls should to."
While thinking about what kind of album he could buy to his friend she decided to answer his question. "No I wasn't there for the competition. I was supposed to go but it ended up with me staying at home with high fever and watching old movies. My dad and my sister were there, and they talked about it when they got home. Though, it was probably talked about for days in school." She then looked over at the music sections. "As for your friend, why don't you buy her some kind of mix cd? I think that I saw one with only female artists. Hopefully they won't include artist like Rebecca Black, which is sad by the way. I can't believe that I share my name with someone who sings about it being Friday."
"And I guess that knowing stuff like that is weird but it's also very cool. I think that it's nice to know about something that only a few people know about. It makes it more umm...special." Rebecca didn't know why she was telling him this but it made sense in her head.

As Rebecca brought up the idea that him and Nathan would be on rival teams made him note how little he had thought about the move in the long run. Lucas had not even thought about what it would mean in that sense. He knew that Nathan saw most things as a competition. Although he knew his younger brother was learning when to cool the competitive edge more and more. Just the same he knew that if they were on opposing teams that Nathan would have no problem making it into a true competition. "That actually hadn't crossed my mind before, but I did beat him at a game of one on one. It was like an audition, so to speak. Maybe this time a bloody nose won't be part of the deal."
Lucas thought about what she said about Brooke. It was good that Rebecca did not seem to have double standards. Maybe he had said some not so nice things in the past, but in general he did not have double standards either. The Scott temper just seemed to always eventually get the best of the Scott men. Especially in emotional situations. "I'm not really one to be too judgmental overall. Although she did accuse me and one of the other guys of being gay the one time. And trust me, neither one of us guys is gay," he told her with a bit of chuckle.
"That's just a shame. It was a pretty good show." A smirk crossed his face. "The only part that sucked was when my best friend wasn't all too happy with me. Apparently having reservations regarding her turning into a cheerleader over night is a bad thing. I can't help it if I'm protective of her. I'm a guy, I know how we can be." Lucas was indeed very protective of Haley. He hated the idea that someone would possibly take advantage of her and hurt her. Sure he had hurt her in his own ways, but he always felt bad about it. Even regretted it enough of the time.
"Maybe..." He was not too certain about just buying some mixed CD. Although he could remember back when Peyton had made him one. Lucas had really appreciated the gesture at the time and treasured that CD. He then thought about the comment that Rebecca had said about sharing her name with someone that had some cheesy song. "Friday, Friday, Friday," he sang teasing her. Lucas was not that good of singer. He would not say that he was the worst, but he was far from being the best. Singing was more of Haley's thing than his.
"Cool by our standards, not theirs." Lucas knew that all too well. Even his best friend the tutor girl found him to be to geeky when it came to things at times. Although his friends did take him as he was without too much judgment. He was just glad that he had met someone else that could appreciate that side of him.

Rebecca burst out in laughter when he started to sing. She had heard worse singers but that song was just overkill. She couldn't believe that he actually sang a part of the lyrics. "Oh gosh, that's awful. I'm sorry, but I really hope that you are a better basketball player than singer," she teased. She didn't mean to upset him or anything like that. All of sudden she found the song stuck in her head and she wanted it out. It was haunting her and she going crazy. All she could hear was 'it's friday, friday, gotta get down in friday'. It getting stuck in her head was all Lucas's fault. He was the one who started to sing though she was the one who mentioned the song. With the song still stuck in her head she decided to respond to what he said about beating Nathan at a game. "Oh well that's good. Then maybe having you on the team will get us a win next season against the Ravens. I've heard about your half brother and I've seen tapes of some old games. He's really good and so are the Ravens, in both basketball and cheer leading. I think that we have to bring out the big guns if we want to win against them next season. Getting a win from the other teams isn't that hard. Sure, there are some other good teams but our team is pretty damn good too." Rebecca had no idea when the last time was when she talked about basketball this much or even cared about it. "Did she accuse you of being gay because you didn't want to kiss her?" she asked with a smirk. Rebecca then thought about what he had told her when they first met. He told her that he once knew a girl who said that he didn't know her but then spent a lot of time making out with her. She wondered if Brooke Davis was that girl. She wasn't afraid of acting too curious she asked away. "So, is Brooke Davis the girl that you talked about the other day? The one who you spent time making out with?""Yeah, I heard that it was a pretty good show. I so wanted to see the look on Claire Young's face when she lost the trophy to Brooke. The bear creek warriors suck," she told with a laugh. "I watched all the cheer-leading performances on tape. The Ravens routine was pretty good. Nice music and all but it could be better. Though our team didn't even get qualified." Rebecca then started to think about the performances and tried to figure out who Lucas' friend was. She remembered seeing a new girl on Raven's cheer leading team but she couldn't remember how she looked. She thought about it for a while before remembering the new girl. "Does your friend have brown hair? I remember seeing a cheer leader that didn't look familiar. I pretty much know every one in all the cheer leading squads but I didn't know her. She wasn't that bad."After saying that she could still hear 'Friday' in her head and she tried her best to get the song out of her head but it was still there and it was irritating. "You do know that I have the song 'Friday' stuck in my head now. Thank you very much for that," she said with a grin. "Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday. Today s Friday, Friday. Tomorrow is Saturday. And Sunday comes afterwards," Rebecca started to mumble. Maybe singing the song out loud would make it leave her head. And it wasn't like she had a bad singing voice. The family maid and her grandmother always told her that she had a very nice singing voice

"Well if this shoulder of mine recovers how I want it to I should be able to give Nate and the guys a run for their money. I missed part of last season because of it. Then Nate decided to stick it to the old man, by not listening to him the one game that he coached us for." Lucas did not blame Nathan for doing it because he understood the reasoning. If their roles had been reversed he probably would of done the same. "I shouldn't have been playing in that game, my shoulder wasn't ready." Luke loved the game but he feared that maybe it would not heal the way he desperately hoped it would. "So hopefully come Fall my game will be back to normal and it can once again be much better than my singing." If he did not make the team come next season he knew he would feel rather lost. Especially since he did not have Skills and the guys to hang around with when he was in Branson.
"We didn't act interested in kissing, making out, or having sex with her so she figured we just had to be gay." It was funny to think back on and to realize that Jake had so many reasons not to want to even seem interested at Brooke at the time, with little baby Jenny and all. He then thought about Rebecca's questions about Brooke and the girl he had talked about the other day. "No, I was talking about her best friend Peyton. Although I did end up dating Brooke, but it's complicated." Lucas figured that Rebecca could fill in between the lines just fine. The girl did have a rather good imagination.
As Rebecca went on and on about the cheerleading stuff Lucas knew that she herself was the cheerleading type. He laughed as she criticized the music that the Ravens cheerleaders had used for the competition. "I'll try to remember to tell Peyton the next time I see her that you didn't think her last minute mix job was good enough." When she asked him if Haley had brown hair he had to hold back laughter. There were a lot of women with brown hair. "Yes, Hales has brown hair. Actually..." Lucas reached into his pocket and took out his wallet. He pulled a picture out of it of him, Haley, and his mom that had been taken within the last six months or so. "That's Hales and that's my mom," he said pointing to them in the picture.
"I started it? You were the one that mentioned that song. Besides that's all I can remember of the lyrics is when they repeat the title." He laughed and smiled thinking about how little he remembered of the song and it's lyrics. Lucas also noticed her mumbling the lyrics of the song and decided to have some fun with her. "You know there's another song that it reminds me of." Luke tried his best to contain himself and not laugh about what he was about to do. "Baby, baby, baby," he sang and then broke into laughter. It was amazing how many more recent songs had such simple lyrics in the chorus that made them so easy to remember, even if you only heard the song the once.

Rebecca realized that Lucas was a very open person. He didn't mind sharing stuff with her and talking about his friends and family. Some people were very secretive and they didn't like to talk much about themselves. Usually they didn't want to share much about their private life. Rebecca understood this but at the same time she was open about things that people already knew about her. She didn't like to share the more private stuff about herself. Her music taste and her love for cheer leading wasn't something new, though maybe her music taste was. Anyone who knew her knew that she loved cheer leading.
She always thought that cheer leading as something light and good. Like, you could have a bad day and be in a bad mood but when the music starts you just forget about it all and have fun. It's like the darkness disappears and the lightness takes over. Or at least that was how she saw it. Sure she wasn't on the team but she danced all the time, at home and at parties. Rebecca wasn't sure about sharing this with someone though because you could never tell what they would think. And the feeling that she could was something that she liked to keep for herself.
"What happened to your shoulder?" she asked all of sudden and got back to reality. "Yeah, I'm sure that not wanting to kiss her makes you gay. It's just how it rolls." Rebecca then thought about his little confession about making out with Brooke's best friend but ending up dating Brooke. It seemed like Lucas had some drama in his life. "Oh I'm sure that it's complicated. No biggie. I don't judge. Both of them were probably good kissers." With that said she took a look at the picture that he was holding. The one with his friend and mom. She recognized the girl from the cheer leading video. "I was right. Your friend is the one with brown hair in the video. I knew that I didn't recognize her from before. Well, like I said she wasn't that bad. And about the music...I wouldn't want to give them any tricks. I kinda want our team to win next season," she admitted.
Rebecca's eyes got wide open when he started to talk about some song that reminded him of Friday and she wasn't sure if she knew what song he was talking about. Though it would change soon. He started to sing again and this time to Justin Bieber. He actually sang a few lines from Baby and she couldn't believe what she was hearing. "Oh god, you are trying to kill me." She spent some seconds trying to figure out what song to torture him with because he already sang Friday and Baby to her. It was hearing a train wreck. Not his voice but the songs. When she finally thought of a song she couldn't help but laugh because the song wasn't so bad but the movie was, and she couldn't believe that she knew the lyrics. "I'm so going to get you for this," she said before starting to sing. "Im not gonna stop that's who i am. I give it all i got that is my plan. Will I find What I lost you know you can. Bet on it."

Rebecca asked about his shoulder, and it was both really simple and kind of complicated to answer. He hoped she would take the simple answer and not ask for further details. "I was in a car accident." At the same time he was kind of surprised that she was still interested in getting to know him. She did not seem like the same person that he had met in the gym. Lucas had a hard time understanding what had changed. Whatever had changed had changed things for the better it seemed.
"Normally I don't kiss and tell, but..." He leaned over towards her so that he could whisper in her ear. "Brooke's overrated." In his mind he thought that Nicki was as well, but he decided to keep that to himself. Being experienced did not always mean that someone was a better kisser, and he knew that from experience. "She's a good kisser, but I've had better. It's all in the lips." He then took a few steps down the way to look at more albums as he listened to her go on about how she knew she had not seen Haley before that one competition. She seemed rather obsessed with cheerleading.
"Well I don't know who's on Branson's cheer squad, but if they want bet the Ravens cheer squad they're going to need a lot of hot cheerleaders." Lucas smirked and looked over at her as he said it. He looked her up and down and then nodded his head. "You in one of those cheer uniforms could do the trick. Although I kind of prefer curls." Luke then went about looking through the albums looking for something to get. Not even necessarily for anyone other than himself at that point.
He laughed as he heard her antics. Then she started singing some song that he was not the least bit familiar with. It did not sound like that great of a song to him though at the very least. "And what is that suppose to be from? It sounds rather cheesy to me." Lucas turned and looked at her. "All I know is that whatever you were just singing would never be a part of Peyton's music collection. Is it a part of yours?" Hopefully she would not take it the wrong way. He was just trying to figure out what her collection actually had in it. It would not make him like her any less, but it would give him a better idea perhaps of what he was dealing with.
