As she sat down he went to carefully push in her chair. He had done it for his mom at least a couple of times for mother's day. Lucas had even managed to cook for her a couple of times, which was hard to do when your mom was usually in a kitchen just about twenty-four hours a day seven days a week. When she laughed and told him he was too nice to let her get lost he knew that at least for the time being Rebecca thought of him as decent guy. "Of course you would call me, and I would pick you up." He went to sit down in the chair on the opposite side of the table. "Because like you said I'm a nice guy."
He then handed his phone to her from across the table. Luke laughed at her comment about stealing it. "Considering mine isn't nearly worth as much as others I've seen I don't think much of anyone would steal it." Him and his mom had always lived on a budget and never had the fanciest of things. Lucas and Nathan were very different in that respect, they had been raised in two very different households. He then thought about what she had said about him wanting to take her to Tree Hill. "I don't know if you could handle Tree Hill. Dan Scott lives there and he rules the world." Luke was both being serious and kind of joking a little. Dan did not rule the world, but he sure thought he did or at the very least that he was suppose to. "Around here you might hear about Brooke and Nathan, but in Tree Hill it's Dan Scott all the time." Exaggeration was key to his humor at that moment.
"Considering that Keith's in no hurry to go back there though, I don't see why you couldn't tag along at least once. I could use the company." In his mind he just was not sure how much he would like traveling alone. It was different going around town alone, but it was another to travel a good distance alone he figured. Not like he really had traveled that far alone by himself before.

Rebecca was surprised that he actually agreed to take her to Tree Hill. She didn't object to that idea and couldn't wait to meet Brooke Davis and Nathan Scott, and the rest of the people in Tree Hill. She wasn't that interested in Dan Scott but she was sure that she would hear much about him. It seemed like he was someone that everyone just loved to hate. Rebecca didn't know the guy, but she was sure that he couldn't be worse than her father.
While thinking about Tree Hill she wrote down her number on his cellphone and handed him the phone. "There you go. Now you can call me whenever you want. Though, I like to get my beauty sleep so please dont call late at night. Also just call me when we are leaving for Tree Hill." It was weird how real her conversation with Lucas was since most of the conversations that she had with guys were in her head. She had pretended that their pool guy was interested in her and that he had send her gifts and stuff. It made her friends envy her but she never told them that it was just pretend. It wasn't real. And the conversations that she did have with guys were mostly about them wanting her sisters number or them wanting a ride in the limo. Which was good in a way, but it wasn't real. They didn't really like her for being Rebecca they liked her for being the rich girl with a limo, though in her head they found her gorgeous.
All her thoughts about Lucas and about their conversation made her stomach flutter and she had no idea what was going on. Her body was starting to heat up and she was feeling the want and need to kiss him. It was weird and she didn't like it. He wasn't her type. She kept her eyes on the menu and wasn't ready to face him. Did he notice how hot she was because she was burning up. Some minuets later, two minuets to be exact since she was counting the minuets in her head, she decided to face him and put down the menu. "I'm going to kiss you now and I'm going to suck at it. The first time it happened you caught me by surprised, but I have no idea what the hell I'm doing so you better not laugh. If you do laugh I'll never talk to you ever again," she told him and leaned over to him. Her lips were only inches away from his and she finally pressed hers against his. Though the kiss felt more like a peck than a actual kiss, but the fluttering in her stomach made a comeback.

It was easy to tell that she was the younger out of the two the more time that passed. Lucas found some comfort knowing that she would not probably want to take things too far too soon though. He liked whatever they currently were. There did not seem to be any extra pressure just yet. Rebecca seemed to be nicer than he had originally figured she might have been. Although Luke did notice that she preferred to be in control a lot more often than not. "Don't worry I only call my mom and Keith at those kinds of hours," he assured her in regards to the late night phone calls. Although he found it strange that Rebecca only wanted him to call if it was because he wanted her to go with him when he went home to visit.
Lucas then noticed as she seemed to get lost in her thoughts not long after she had handed him back his phone. As he put his phone away he looked over the menu. Rebecca was quiet, perhaps too quiet. Luke found her silence a bit uncomfortable. Mainly because he was trying to figure out why she was so quiet and what she could possibly be thinking about. He looked up from his menu to see that she was looking at her menu. Something seemed off though. Maybe it was just that she was so quiet or maybe it was more than just that. Lucas placed his menu down on the table as he considered asking her if she was alright. She spoke before he even got a chance to speak.
Her words were sort of amusing, but not in a bad way. He contained his laughter as Luke understood enough to do as she said. Although the last part kind of reminded him of what Haley had told him right before they had kissed the night of the boy toy auction. As she went about leaning towards him to kiss him he closed his eyes. It was easier to judge the kiss fairly that way he thought. The kiss was not earth shattering, but it considering her inexperience it was nice. He felt his hand reach for her cheek as he leaned into the kiss. Rebecca's lips felt nice and soft and he admired how they were in his mind. As he continued on with the kiss he felt his hand move from her cheek back towards her ear and hair line. Lucas for some while where they were until he could not help but feel the stares that fell upon them.
He slowly pulled away as he opened his eyes to hopefully catch a chance to look into hers. Luke wondered what she thought about the kiss and well the stares as well. Although he figured that Rebecca probably liked the attention. "You don't do bad for a beginner." In his mind he knew that once she got use to it that she would feel more comfortable with the process.

Rebecca had her eyes closed as the kiss went on and she still had no idea what she was doing. Her lips were moving against his but he was doing all the movements. His hand found her cheek and she could feel her body burning up even more than before, and she didn't think that it was possible. She had no idea what he was doing to her but the kiss felt nothing their first kiss. When he kissed her for the first time she was confused and shocked, but now she liked it and she didn't want to stop. She liked the way his lips felt against hers and the way his hand moved towards her ear and hair line.
It was confusing and new but she liked it, and it confused. Her eyes opened when he pulled away from the kiss and she didn't understand the sudden lose of his lips against hers. She didn't like it either. Though she could see people looking at them and she figured that it was why he pulled away. She didn't mind the attention, she loved it, but she didn't like that it kept him from kissing her. "Good boy. You didn't laugh," she told him with a proud smile. She thought about his comment about not doing bad for a beginner and it made her smile.
She then looked around to see if the waitress was anywhere around but she could only spot people looking at them. Some of the teens there were probably from school and all curious. Rebecca loved the attention but she couldn't care less about them being curious. No, she just wanted Lucas's lips pressed against hers again. That was the only thing that she could think of, how nice it felt to kiss him. It was very confusing but very nice too.
Rebecca felt more confident this time and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt, pulling him closer to her and letting her lips find their way back to his. She put her other hand around the back of his neck. She tried her best not to overthink the kiss and just go with the flow.

There was something about her brown eyes when they opened that he liked. Lucas was not sure if he was just getting sucked into the moment emotionally or not. Although he was certain that it was far better than the first time he had kissed her. The way that Rebecca told him that he had been a good boy made it clear that she liked it when things went her way and when she was in control. It was then that he started to realize why they had not gotten along that well when they had first met. She had not been in control of the situation. Now though, she seemed to have a lot more control over what was happening.
Lucas noticed how she looked around taking notes about the people around them. They clearly still had an audience. Although she seemed to have something else on her mind. At first he was not sure what it was. As she grabbed him by the collar though he knew all too well what had been on her mind. Rebecca pulled him close to her and initiated the kiss. It surprised him, but he knew she was one to prefer to be in control. When he felt her other hand around the back of his neck Luke realized that he had been bad when he had broken off the kiss just earlier.
His lips pressed up against hers as he remembered how nice her lips felt. Lucas went along with the flow or rhythm that their lips seemed to have. Just the way that she had taken charge though had made him to apply more pressure as they kissed. It had a lot to do with the excitement that flowed through his body due to her actions. Besides to the best of his knowledge they were just having fun. Although it mainly seemed to be her having fun with him. All the same he started to run his fingers through her brunette hair. The texture of it did not do that much for him, but how she had taken charge was plenty enough of a turn on for Luke.
After some time he had to pull away from her lips some to catch his breath, and he was sure she needed to as well. He really enjoyed kissing her. Lucas looked at her and into her eyes. "I think I could get use to that," Luke told her in a husky tone.

The way they kissed made her want him more and her body was getting hotter, and she realized after awhile that the kissing had turned her on. And that didn't make much sense in her head since he wasn't her type, or so she said. Though the way the kiss made her feel said otherwise. She was clearly attracted to him and the last two kisses were much better than their first one. The way he added more pressure to the kiss more intense for her. She still wasn't good at the whole kissing part, but she was getting the hang of it. Though she wasn't ready for any french kissing.
When he pulled away though she wondered why he kept doing it, but she realized that he probably had to catch his breath. It was probably for the best since she had to catch her breath too and figuring out all these feelings that she was getting. His comment made her smile though and his husky voice turned her on...once again. She was starting to think that it was something wrong with her and her hormones. "Me too," she replied, her voice low. She wanted to say something more but the waitress interrupted her.
The waitress didn't seem to notice her and focused on Lucas instead. Rebecca was pretty sure that the girl was flirting with Lucas and it didn't please her. She wasn't jealous but she didn't like the fact that the waitress flirted with Lucas. In her head those things weren't the same at all. She let out a fake cough and made the waitress turn to where she was sitting. "I would like a Latte and chocolate cake," she said.

Lucas was admiring Rebecca when the waitress came over to get their orders. At the same time though he noticed that the waitress was flirting with him. She seemed to be his age, and he could almost recall seeing her around school. He tried not to encourage the flirting and just about completely ignored it, but their waitress just did not seem to be catching on. Luke found it strange since he was still obviously rather close to Rebecca as his fingers were still playing with the strands of her hair as he caught his breath. Usually people took that as a big hint that any kind of flirt type advance was not going to work. Perhaps she thought that since Rebeccas was younger that she had the upper hand, but Lucas just saw it as being nervy and catty.
As Rebecca fake coughed to get the waitresses attention he saw the bit of annoyance cross the waitress' face. It was not too obvious but he had seen it and he found it very unproffesional. A little flirting was not that bad depending on the situation. In his mind though this waitress had made her mission fairly clear. After Rebecca had told the waitress her order he hoped that he could still remember what he had decided to order earlier before they had started with the kissing. "I'll have a slice of the apple pie, a piece of the chocolate cake, and a glass of water." Usually he got coffee, but seeing how things were going with Rebecca he felt that he needed to order water instead.
He changed his focus back to his 'date' hoping that the waitress would just leave them alone while she went to deal with orders and her other duties at the cafe. Luke smirked at Rebecca as he leaned in towards her a little. It was hard not to realize that she really enjoyed it when they kissed perhaps even more so than he did. Although he did enjoy it a lot more than he had thought he might.

Rebecca smirked when Lucas didn't seem interested in the waitress and when he kept his eyes on her instead. It made her happy because no boy had ever given her so much attention before, well only in her head. But this was real. He was real and kissing him was real too. Rebecca was the queen of pretending but at the moment it felt good to be real and not fake, and not pretend. She was enjoying Lucas's company and at the same time it gave her some popularity and she was in the buzz, so it was all good.
When the waitress finally left them she saw as Lucas leaned in towards her and that made her stomach flutter again. By now she realized that the fluttering in her stomach was butterflies, and she never had them before but they could be very annoying. "I have to admit that I was wrong before," she said and leaned in closer to him. Their lips were so close now. "I do recall me saying that you weren't my type, but I guess that I judged the book by its cover...or whatever they say." With that said she pulled him in for a short kiss. When she pulled away she smiled against his lips. "I think that you are definitively my type. At least for now."

Luke listened carefully to what she said next. Although he could of sworn that she was trying to distract him with those lips of hers with how close they started to get to his own. She admitted that she had been wrong about him not being her type before. A slight smile played across his lips as she said that. Mainly because that meant that she liked him more than just a friend, generally speaking. Although he figured that it was better not to worry about putting a label on whatever they had. Especially as she pulled him in for a short kiss.
As she pulled away from the kiss he could feel the smile that her lips formed. As Rebecca commented that he was her type Lucas could not help but smile. "For now?" Those two words stuck out in his mind. Luke wondered what she meant by that. Still he enjoyed her presence and her lips too much to care too much about the possible answer. Lucas pressed his lips up against hers gently kissing her. He still could not get over how her lips felt when he kissed her. As he saw their waitress starting to make her way back to their table with food in hand he pulled away from the kiss. Luke reached for the hand that she had pulled him in by the collar earlier and gently touched it. "I like how you boss me around," Lucas told her with a smirk. "It most certainly comes with it's perks."

Rebecca was thrilled at the way he kept kissing her and wanting her full attention. It was very good to be in the center of attention and having a guy like her for being her. Though he seemed a bit confused when it came to her 'for now' comment. He didn't give her time to answer though because he was back to kissing her and she didn't mind it. No, she enjoyed it a lot. As Lucas started to pull away from the kiss she felt the need to pull him back in because she wanted the kiss to last longer, but she soon realized why he pulled away.
The waitress that they ordered from was making her way to their table and Rebecca waited for her to give them their food before responding to Lucas' comments. The waitress gave Lucas some sort of wink when she gave them their food and then walked away to another table. Rebecca rolled her eyes at the way the waitress was behaving. "For now means that I'm still young and I'm not really sure what my type is. Blondes or dark haired. Blue eyed or brown eyed. But I have to admit that I'm...attracted to you so that makes you my type," she explained and went for her Latte. "And I'm happy that you enjoy my bossiness because I wasn't planning on stopping."

As the waitress left their food Lucas made sure to give her room to put their orders down. She made sure to give him a wink before she went to wait on one of the other tables. He took his fork and took a few bites of his pie as Rebecca explained why she had said for now. As she went on to comment about how she was not planning to stop boss him around he could not help but smirk a little. "Personally, I just think your type is the kind you can boss around. You're lucky because I just happen to like being bossed around by beautiful young ladies like yourself." He ate a few more bites of his pie as he admired her. The pie was alright, but Lucas found it to be a little dry. He took a couple sips of his water.
Luke then looked over at her and smiled. Maybe the pie was not what he was use to, but Rebecca made up for it. "So how does it feel to not have to 'pretend' all of this?" Indeed he was rather curious as to if she liked not having to pretend for a change. "I would think that all that pretending can't possibly do the kissing justice." Perhaps remembering could sooner than pretending, but even that did not do the real deal much justice. "Besides bossing me around much be so much more fun this way."
